Layne J. Butt

Layne’s practice encompasses general business and transactional law, including all aspects of real estate transactions. Layne’s real estate practice has developed a particular focus on development, finance (including affordable housing) and the formation of various investment vehicles.

With over 40 years of legal practice in local, national and regional law firms, Layne’s experience also includes a collective 6 years as in-house counsel with two different development companies located in Southern Nevada. This background provides practical, hands-on, experience in a business setting of counseling clients and managing transactions to achieve favorable results while minimizing associated risks. Layne strives to navigate clients through a successful transaction while minimizing obstacles and counseling for the best result for the client.
